Cars over twenty years old: that plastic isn't made any more. We remake it.
Air vents, knobs, surrounds, glovebox parts, interior handles and mounts — remade from your original, broken or complete.
We work to measure only, on the part itself: you send a photo, then the original — by post or in person — and we return it to you together with the new part. Full price, on quote, with agreed timescales.
The limit is the age of the vehicle: over twenty years, the threshold of the ASI certification. Below that, the spare part can usually still be found, it costs little and it arrives quickly: that isn't our trade, and we say so before wasting your time. No car catalogue.
Who we work for
Classic and youngtimer car clubs, restoration workshops, specialist body shops. Someone restoring a car knows the part, supplies the original and accepts the time it takes: they are the natural counterpart for this work.
We do not work for general garages. On the recent fleet the spare exists, it costs two euros and it arrives within a week — on that ground we have nothing to offer.
We do not target a make: campers and boats are defined by their equipment manufacturers, this family is defined by an era. There are no fifteen dashboard makers — there are thousands of models and one thing in common, the age of the vehicle. That is why you will not find a list of makes here.
The typical cases
- The air vent snapped at the vanes, that no parts dealer stocks any more.
- The worn heater knob: the only thing missing on an otherwise sound dashboard.
- The interior bracket that holds the console and has broken in three places.
- The glovebox whose lid still exists, but whose hinge does not.
Clear limits
Only non-structural cabin and trim plastics, within about 34 × 32 × 34 cm: no bumpers, no large bodywork panels.
No airbag work: not the cover, not its tear seam, not the hinge, not the frame, and no element within or adjacent to the deployment area. No control carrying a homologated symbol. No brakes, steering, suspension, transmission, structure or impact-absorbing elements, mirrors, head restraints, seatbelts and their anchorages, homologated lights — mounts, brackets and housings remain possible.
When in doubt, we decline. Where an airbag is nearby, the doubt is enough.
The material depends on the zone
In a cabin there is no single right material: what matters is where the part ends up. Vertical surfaces sheltered from direct sun — console, door cards, surrounds — we print in ASA, the UV-resistant polymer we use for the Sicilian sun.
The upper dashboard is another trade: exposed to the sun, in summer it reaches temperatures ASA cannot hold. There, a polymer with high thermal resistance is needed. We are testing materials on coupons, in full sun, before selling a single part: the final material is stated on the quote, together with the intended zone of use.
How it works
The part must reach us already removed. We carry out no dismantling or fitting work on motor vehicles: our service is survey and manufacture, nothing else. Fitting remains with the customer or their repairer.
Outside our area the part travels, not the operator: prepaid return label, original and new part returned in the same parcel, dispatch on fixed days.
The part is delivered raw — the printed surface finish is our delivery standard. Its appearance is visibly different from the original grain: anyone wanting the original finish back gets there with sanding and paint, at home.
